What is an EV common charger grant?
(ECCG)
The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has inaugurated an EV common charger grant (ECCG) to begin the EV charger installation process in non-landed private residences such as private apartments and condominiums.
The ECCG will counteract half of the price of several electric charge components and also owners of the EV charger can apply for ECCG to cover up to three advanced costs.
Be an early bird, since the applications for EV Common Charger Grant(ECCG) will be closed by December 2025. Only 2000 chargers have been approved for funding, which means about 2600 NLPR which include condominiums and private apartments will be benefited, on a first-come-first-server-basis! The sooner you register,lesser your worries will be!
What does the EV Charger GRANT cover?
The Electric Vehicle Common Charger (ECCG)grant will cover 3 sectors and help you out in the EV installation process. ECCG will cover 3 of the main components required and they will be co-funded by 50% of the chargers. The components that will be covered are the charging system, cabling and installation costs and licensed electrical worker fee.
The charging system could include the charging system equipment, isolators, and circuit breakers, while cabling and installation co-funds will be provided for things such as for electric cables, installation works, and different electric accessories which are required for the purpose.
